A night in the Roaring Twenties · The Biltmore, Los Angeles
We met in the back room of a jazz bar on Spring Street, both there for the same trumpet player and neither willing to give up the last good seat. Eleven years later we're marrying two blocks away, in a ballroom that opened the year our great-grandparents were born. Expect a champagne tower, a horn section, and an unreasonable amount of gold.
Valet is on Grand Avenue and runs all night. The Pershing Square Metro stop is a three-minute walk. We hold a room block under "Ashcroft-Vance" at the Biltmore itself and an overflow block at the Hotel Per La across the square — book by the 1st for the rate. If you'd rather not drive home at one in the morning, we'd genuinely rather you stayed.
